By participating in this auction and purchasing artwork through this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Artwork Sales
All artwork is sold as-is and as described. Every effort is made to accurately represent the artwork through photographs and descriptions. Due to differences in screen displays and lighting, actual colours may vary slightly from those shown online.
Auction Bidding
By placing a bid, you agree that your bid is binding. The highest qualifying bid at the close of the auction will be deemed the successful purchaser.
Catherine Marchand Art reserves the right to cancel, modify, or withdraw auction items at any time.
Payment
Successful bidders will be contacted following the close of the auction to arrange payment and delivery details. Artwork will not be released until full payment has been received.
Shipping and Local Pickup
Shipping costs are not included in the winning bid amount.
Following the auction, the seller will contact the successful bidder to arrange either:
- Local pickup in the Spruce Grove, Alberta area; or
- Shipping to the purchaser’s location.
Shipping charges will be quoted separately based on the destination, carrier, insurance requirements, and preferred shipping method. Any shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
All sales are final.
No refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations will be accepted once payment has been received.
Damaged Shipments
If artwork arrives damaged during shipping, the purchaser must notify the seller within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the packaging and artwork. Any shipping damage claims will be handled through the applicable shipping carrier where insurance coverage has been purchased.
Privacy
Personal information collected during the bidding and purchasing process will be used solely for the administration of the auction, payment processing, shipping arrangements, and communication regarding purchased artwork. Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required to complete delivery services.
